This song from Rocket To The Moon is called "Whole Lotta You" is a song I love and so will you............

Group and Song Facts

A Rocket to the Moon is an American rock band. The band was formed during 2006 in Braintree, Massachusetts, by Nick Santino, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Guitarist and backup vocalist Justin Richards (also of Brighten), bassist and backup vocalist Eric Halvorsen, and drummer Andrew Cook eventually joined the band, and they formed "A Rocket To The Moon". The band currently is signed to Fueled By Ramen, with a debut album, titled On Your Side, which was released on October 13, 2009, through Fueled By Ramen. They are currently working on an upcoming album, titled "Wild And Free" which will be released upcoming January 2013.

Nick Santino says how they came up with the name of the group:  There's no crazy story behind it. I don't know if I read it somewhere but I thought, "Hey, A Rocket to the Moon, that sounds kind of cool!" Or, I can make something up like, 'I've always wanted to be an astronaut.'

"Whole Lotta You." With its breezy pop melodies, jangling acoustics and hook-laden harmonies, it effortlessly captures that spark-inducing feeling that comes with getting drunk off love and one cheap beer too many.

"We wanted to write a different kind of love song.  We also wanted to write a different kind of summer song.  'Whole Lotta You' is about having a good time, going out to a bar with your friends and falling in love with someone across the bar," says frontman Nick Santino. "It's almost a tongue-in-cheek, desperate drunken love song. This angle was a lot of fun to write. We've written about love and we've written about going out to a bar, but we've never written about what really happens when two people have a little TOO much 'inspiration' at said bar (laughs). I think it's a good, relatable summer song that people will find themselves humming along to for a while

Let's go out, get lit, get loose tonight
Sing a song, get wrong, make it feel alright
Drinks on ice
Stars in our eyes
Ain't got a lot of money
But you're a dime

Hey hey
All I need is a whole whole
Lot of you everyday day's
A holiday ain't nothing we can't do
Now all I need baby
Is a little time
And a whole lot of you

Get me buzzed on your love
Lemme steal a kiss
Bubblegum on your tongue
No I can't resist
Gotta leave all your worries at the door
Cuz life ain't nothin but a big dance floor

Nobody wanna be alone, alone tonight
So come on baby take me home, home tonight
So come on and take me home..

This song from Chevelle is called "The Red" is a song I love and so will you............

Group and Song Facts:

Chevelle is an American alternative metal band that formed in 1995 in Grayslake, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The band was originally composed of two brothers: Pete Loeffler (lead vocals/guitar), Sam Loeffler (drums/percussion) and Matt Scott[1] (bass/backing vocals). Scott was later replaced by brother Joe Loeffler. When Joe left the band in 2005, Geno Lenardo subbed-in as the bassist until he was replaced by Pete and Sam's brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini.

Chevelle has sold over four million albums in the United States.[2] The band's first full-length album, Point #1 was released on a small record label called Squint Entertainment. Chevelle's second album, Wonder What's Next, was certified Platinum by the RIAA after a debut at No. 14 on the United States albums chart, Billboard 200. This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In), the band's third album debuted at No. 8 and has been certified Gold. Chevelle has since released a fourth album, Vena Sera, a fifth album, Sci-Fi Crimes, which was released on August 31, 2009, and a sixth album Hats Off to the Bull was released on December 6, 2011. Other releases from Chevelle include two live albums, DVDs and a compilation of band favorites.

The name Chevelle came from the band members' passion for fast cars. It was also a car their father liked, the Chevrolet Chevelle.[4] The band started playing small outdoor concerts and clubs around Chicago, Illinois, with Joe being only 14 years old.

"The Red" is the breakthrough single from the Chicago-based hard rock band Chevelle. It is the fifth track and lead single from their major label debut, Wonder What's Next, released in 2002. It is often considered their most popular track, despite the fact that "Send the Pain Below" charted higher. However, it is the band's biggest pop hit, reaching #56 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, in addition to placing in the top 5 of both the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart (#3) and the Modern Rock Tracks chart (#4), which is where "Send the Pain Below" did chart higher. MLB Player Geoff Blum uses "The Red" as his intro song when coming up to bat.

The song is about dealing with frustration and anger. Its music video depicts an anger management seminar where vocalist Pete Loeffler ascends a podium and sings the verse lyrics. The video then breaks to Chevelle performing the heavy chorus under red lighting. By the end of the song, the agitated seminar participants, which include band members Sam and Joe, begin tossing folding chairs.

Chevelle is made up of 3 brothers from Chicago. This is the first single from their second album, and their first hit.

There was a bio on Chevelle where Pete (vocals) said that this song was about someone getting so angry at the world, life, and just about anything and everything, that he actually begins to see red.

"They say freak,
When you're singled out,
The red, well it filters through.

So lay down, the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again.

This change, he won't contain,
Slip away, to clear your mind.
When asked, who made it show,
The truth, he gives in to most.

So lay down, the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.

So lay down, the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.
So lay down, the threat is real,
When his sight goes red again.

Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red again,
Seeing red....

They say freak...
When you're singled out.
The red, it filters through...".

This song from Hoobastank is called "The Reason" is a song I love, love, LOVE and so will you............

Group and Song Facts:

Hoobastank (often stylized as h∞bastank) is an American rock band, best known for their hit "The Reason". They formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California, with singer Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen. They were signed to Island Records from 2001 to 2012 and have released five albums and one extended play to date. Their fifth studio album, Fight or Flight, was released on September 11, 2012. They have sold 10 million albums worldwide.

In an interview, Chris 'Soldier' Hesse was asked the same question all ask: "How did the band come up with the name Hoobastank?" He replied, "Doug's brother is the vice president of BMW Motorcycles and lives in Germany. And there is this street out by his house that is called Hooba Street or something like that and before Doug could pronounce the name, he called it Hoobastank and it was kinda a cute thing and his brother still teases him about it to this day. When we were looking for band names it's almost impossible to find a band name that hasn't been taken. Anything remotely normal has been taken already. I don't remember how it came up but someone said it and we were like yeah."[3]

"The Reason" is the 2004 hit single by the modern rock band Hoobastank, off their album The Reason. The song is Hoobastank's most commercially successful single, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (kept from the top spot by Usher's hit Burn), and #1 on the Modern Rock Tracks. In addition, it topped the singles charts in both Mexico and Italy. It was nominated for the Song of the Year on the 47th Grammy Awards. It was also a transatlantic hit, peaking at #12 in the United Kingdom.

"The Reason" also won the MTV Asia VMA award for best rock video and was also covered by singer Tom Jones. A remix version also exists for airplay on adult contemporary stations. An Acoustic version is present in The Greatest Hits: Don't Touch My Moustache Album. The song appears on the video games SingStar Pop and Karaoke Revolution Volume 3. The song also featured in the Friends Special episode "The One With All the Other Ones (Part 2)".

I'm not a perfect person
There's many things I wish I didn't do
But I continue learning
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

[[Chorus]]
I've found a reason for me
To change who I used to be
A reason to start over new
And the reason is you

I'm Sorry that I hurt you
It's something I must live with everyday
And all the pain I put you through
I wish I could take it all away
And be the one who catches all your tears
That's why I need you to hear

[[Chorus]]

And the reason is you [Repeat: x3]

I'm not a perfect person
I never meant to do those things to you
And so I have to say before I go
That I just want you to know

[Chorus]

I've found a reason for me
A side of me you didn't know
A reason for all that I do
And the reason is you...

This song from Jimmy Eat World is called "Sweetness" is a song I love and so will you............

Group and Song Facts:

Jimmy Eat World is an American alternative rock band from Mesa, Arizona, that formed in 1993. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jim Adkins, guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton, bassist Rick Burch and drummer Zach Lind.

Jimmy Eat World has released seven studio albums, the last six featuring the current lineup. The band originally formed with a punk rock sound, first releasing a demo tape in 1993, followed by their first EP in 1994, titled One, Two, Three, Four. Their debut self-titled album (1994) was released with current guitarist Linton singing most of the lead vocals on the album. Jimmy Eat World released both their second and third albums through Capitol Records, with Static Prevails (1996) featuring their first single "Rockstar". The critically acclaimed Clarity (1999) contained the single "Lucky Denver Mint", which was featured in the film Never Been Kissed and went on to garner a cult following.

Jimmy Eat World formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1993. Contrary to popular belief, the band name acronym (JEW) is not a reference to the band's religious beliefs, nor to member Jim Adkins. The band's name came from a crayon drawing made after an incident between Linton's younger brothers, Jim and Ed Linton, who fought frequently. Jim usually won, but Ed sought revenge by drawing a picture of Jim shoving the Earth into his mouth; the picture bore the caption "Jimmy eat world".

"Sweetness" is about having strong feelings for a person who doesn't feel that way about you. When you are near that person you get a special "sweet" feeling. "The Sweetness Will Not Be Concerned With Me" is saying that that person doesn't feel the same way.
There are two versions of this song, one in which the lyric is "Strap from your tether unwinds," the other "String from your tether unwinds;" however the lyric is officially documented as "Strap."

This song from AC/DC is called "Thunderstruck" is a song I love and so will you............

Group and Song Facts:

AC/DC are an Australian hard rock band, formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who have remained constant members. Commonly classified as hard rock, they are considered pioneers of heavy metal and are sometimes classified as such,[1][2] though they themselves have always classified their music as simply "rock and roll".[3] To date they are one of the highest-grossing bands of all time.

Brothers Malcolm, Angus, and George Young were born in Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Sydney with most of their family in 1963. George was the first to learn to play the guitar. He became a member of the Easybeats, one of Australia's most successful bands of the 1960s. In 1966, they became the first local rock act to have an international hit, with the song "Friday on My Mind".[13] Malcolm followed in George's footsteps by playing with a Newcastle, New South Wales, band called the Velvet Underground (not to be confused with the New York–based Velvet Underground).[14] Their oldest brother Alex Young chose to remain in Britain to pursue musical interests. In 1967, Alexander formed and played bass in the London-based band Grapefruit—initially called "The Grapefruit"—with three former members of Tony Rivers and the Castaways, John Perry, Geoff Swettenham, and Pete Swettenham.
The band's logo was designed in 1977 by Bob Defrin, who was the art director at Atlantic Records during the 1970s. It first appeared on the international version of Let There Be Rock.

Malcolm and Angus Young developed the idea for the band's name after their sister, Margaret Young, saw the initials "AC/DC" on a sewing machine. "AC/DC" is an abbreviation meaning "alternating current/direct current" electricity. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy, power-driven performances of their music.[15][16] "AC/DC" is pronounced one letter at a time, though the band are colloquially known as "Acca Dacca" in Australia.[17][18]

"Thunderstruck" is the first song on the 1990 AC/DC album The Razors Edge.

The song peaked at No. 5 on U.S. the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks. It was released as a single in Germany, Australia, and Japan. The song is said to be inspired by lead guitarist Angus Young's hair-raising experience when a plane he was on was struck by lightning. Another theory states that the song was conceived when the band watched a Combined Arms Livefire EXercise (CALFEX) at Ft. Hood. The band was so impressed by the M1A1 tank that they wrote a song about it. However, Angus Young stated in the liner notes of the 2003 re-release of The Razors Edge:

"It started off from a little trick I had on guitar. I played it to Mal and he said 'Oh, I've got a good rhythm idea that will sit well in the back.' We built the song up from that. We fiddled about with it for a few months before everything fell into place. Lyrically, it was really just a case of finding a good title ... We came up with this thunder thing and it seemed to have a good ring to it. AC/DC=Power. That's the basic idea."[1]

Contrary to popular belief, Young does not play "Thunderstruck"'s main riff with one hand. Instead, he picks every note. Additionally in all AC/DC live videos, Angus can clearly be viewed picking every note. The one-handed tapping technique can only be seen in the "Thunderstruck" music video. The opening riff oscillitates between B major and e minor.

Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder

I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track (Thunder)
I looked 'round,
And I knew there was no turning back (Thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (Thunder)
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you (Thunder)
Sound of the drums
Beatin' in my heart
The thunder of guns!
Tore me apart
You've been - thunderstruck!

Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the ton
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas
And we had some fun
We met some gals,
Some dancers who gave us good times
Broke all the rules, played all the fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds
And I was shakin' at the knees
Could I come again please.
Yeah the ladies were too kind
You've been - thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck
Yeah
Oh, thunderstruck, yeah

I was shaking at the knees

Could I come again please

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

It's alright, we're doin' fine

It's alright, we're doin' fine, fine, fine

Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

Thunderstruck, baby, baby

Thunderstruck, you've been Thunderstruck

Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck

You've been Thunderstruck
